“Room was a little dated. Not the most comfortable bed and a little noisy as on the road. Would have expected a little more for price paid although room was very large. Check in staff friendly and helpful and food was decent for the price.”

“A lovely venue in the countryside where we stayed for a music event. Very nice spacious and clean room with a very comfortable bed. Was just missing hangers in the wardrobe. Would have been nice to have EV charging available.”

“Room very small and stuffy, bathroom, well it was the worst shower ever, had a metal bar screwed to the wall so everytime I tried to wash myself I bashed my arm. Everything I asked for at the bar they hadn’t got or had ran out, what I did get in the end was very overpriced. Breakfast the following morning, no bacon left so had to wait 20 minutes for some more to be done which was undercooked when it came out, there was no drinking water either. Very disappointing, looks lovely from the……

“A truly delightful hotel in a convenient location with excellent staff and facilities. Impossible to fault overall - 2 tips… dont park under the trees in front of the building. I dont know what the birds eat, but they eat A LOT of it. Then theres steps….pack light, you’ll be hauling your luggage up a LOT of steps :-) - its a 13th century manor house, lifts werent a “thing” !”

“This hotel is one of the Old English Inns. Very vintage style, clean, and comfort. If you want to try some typical English countryside, it is. The location may not suit for those don't drive.”
