"It is super conveniently located, good private parking (at a charge). The place is clean, typical Italian decor (colorful and lacking of finish) - absolutely ok! We did have an unfortunate experience: the tlf.no. we got online was apparently wrong (turned out to be that of a landlady for a property next door, who uses the same parking facility). What makes the difference is the staff, they make you feel welcomed and are very helpful. Admittedly the fist impression was a bit off. We typically stay in major chain hotels and our initial impression was that the location would not workout for us. However this quickly faded and our stay was quite pleasant. Though the facilities are older and show signs of wear the cleaning staff was top notch! A big "Thanks!" to Teresa who went out of her way to make our visit enjoyable. Our biggest...

We stayed for 3 nights at CastaDiva in September 2015. We have been to Lake Como a few times prior this visit but the hotel and facilities were remarkable. Seriously the pictures on the website do not do show you enough. my husband and I were actually shocked at how horrible their marketing ability is on the website when stepping foot on site. We are very picky with where we stay--has to be exceptional and have stayed in some magical places throughout our 10 years together. Castadiva was by...

Hotel Villa Flori

We loved our three day stay at this lovely hotel. The views from the hotel of Lake Como and the City of Como were outstanding. We had a corner suite with two large floor to ceiling windows with views of the City of Como and its duomo as well as looking down the length of the lake. Our two sided balcony was amazing. The food at the hotel restaurant was excellent. We were in Europe for three weeks and our meal at the Villa Flori restaurant was the best we had on our vacation. If there...

10/10 Excellent

This hotel was one of two unexpected gems. I cannot stress this enough, people. GO here. And get a room with a lake view. Pay extra for it if you have to, it's SO worth it. The look on my mother's face when she walked outside.... I've never been to Como, and my mother has never been outside the US. The hotel staff was BEYOND helpful and friendly. The hotel itself was so lovely, the restaurant was fantastic, and that view... just stunning. Parking was super cheap. The streets around the hotel are...
