It's now the location for reenactments each year that depict the three-day battle which changed the course of American history and had a great influence on the American Civil War. Typically, the reenactment is during the actual anniversary--the Fourth of July weekend (it happened July 1-3, but assume it's near that date that the reenactment occurs) but this year it rained and the reenactment was moved to August.
