“The front desk staff were very friendly. The room offered bigger space than expectations. The whole experience would be better if there is an available free parking lot.”

“We stayed in the Tennessee room, which was great, with the exception of the traffic on Baltimore St. If I were to go back, I would choose a room at the back of the property. Otherwise, the place was clean, beautiful and the Grab and Go breakfast had a lot of choices.”

“Amazing B &B. Loved everything about The Swope Manor. Breakfasts were superb. You should stay here, you will not be disappointed.”

“The location is ideally situated for fast access the the National Park and to the National Soldiers Cemetery, the sight of the Gettysburg Address dedication and to the town itself. It is easy to enter and leave the property and has plenty of parking.”

“Great property! Right by the cemetery, close to military park and town”

“Nice historic hotel. Enjoyed our stay here and Gettysburg”

“Absolutely lovely B &B in the perfect location. The family that owns the property are wonderfully kind and accommodating. I usually stay in brand hotels for points but I thought I’d try something different. I love it and will be back!”

“Peeling paint. Dead bug, and a toenail on the floor. An AC unit that has never been cleaned. A bed that was like lying on a hard angled gymnasium floor. Stains on sheets. The location is good though.”

“The only thing good was the bed was Comfortable and then it goes downhill. When we checked in the desk area was so cluttered and not clean then we went to our room— the rugs were clearly not swept in days maybe weeks and the toilet was “clearly” not clean. I ask them to have it cleaned and swept and they were very rude and said we didn’t dirty it!!! Then on to the dining room where you are to eat breakfast. It was to say the least filthy!!! The hallway entry was filthy. The same leaves and……

“Checking into the room, no towels, hand towels or wash cloths. Room was never maintained for the 3 days we were there. Never made the bed or empty the trash. Breakfast and coffee never available. Office stayed locked till 8 am. Overall state of the room not satisfactory. Motel needs to be renovated.”

“The location was amazing. Restaurants and shops walkable toward Cemetery Hill and to downtown. Parking was easy and the fenced in yard was perfect for our little dog.”

“2 bottom level rooms, 3 rooms on second floor, nice bathrooms.”

“The person behind the desk, Bob, was super friendly and helpful. The hotel was sold out, he checked everyone in quickly and efficiently, and got us a cot within an hour of checking in. He is the reason I rate my experience so highly.”

“Foi muito boa a estadia tinha tudo o precisávamos… o breakfast bem fraquinho… e manutenção do podem fazer algumas melhorias para estar mais apresentável o resto equipe e utilidades e estrutura boa e agradável.”
