Very nice welcome from staff - we got there a bit late in afternoon or early evening after excessive traffic coming from Philadelphia - both rush hour and construction. Room, bed and amenities very nice and comfortable. Gas fireplace in room. Room located in different building from main office. One on flight of stairs then 2 smaller flights to room. Room was spacious and very clean. Located on the main road into and out of Gettysburg so rather noisy at……

“I was there 5 days and they never cleaned the room. They never made the bed! While the room appeared clean when I checked in I later found that the floor was quite dirty because the bottom of my white socks weren't white anymore. They knocked on my door a couple mornings and asked if I needed anything. I asked them to empty the garbage can and give me a towel. Its in a convenient spot just a mile or so from town. There's several fast food places, Walmart, Dairy Queen, etc very close by. ……

“I do not recommend this hotel at all! Very dirty. The shower was not clean, still had leftover soap in the soap tray from the previous customers. Soap scum on shower walls and the tub looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months. Cobwebs hanging from the ceiling. Nothing was clean in this room except for the sheets. The bed spread smelled like mold. The pillows are flat and old. Everything was dusty/dirty. There are people living in this motel who obviously look like something from the Hills……

“The motel is great for the price. It is within walking distance of shops, museums, and restaurants. The room itself was clean, and the AC worked great. Unfortunately, the pool was not open, and my kids were disappointed. We got there before check-in, and the owner had no problem letting us leave our car in the parking lot and walk around town until 2 pm. We were able to self-check out by just leaving our key in the drop box since we left really early.”
