“The Federal Pointe Inn of Gettysburg has so much history! It was originally constructed to be a school so the ceilings are extra high. The bedroom was spacious and the bathroom was large, but could have used better lighting. The bedrooms also lacked hooks for ease of hanging outer wear as the closet was located in the far end of the room away from the door. When we stayed, it was Easter Sunday so the restaurant and bar was closed, so we didn't get to enjoy restaurant/ bar, but we did walk……

“Exceptional and relaxing stay. I was astounded at how clean this property was. Owners obviously put a lot of care and consideration into their work. Breakfast was unique and delicious, friendly and low key. Appreciated the individual tables. We visit Gettysburg frequently and will definitely be back. “Honest opinion. The lobby and property grounds were very nice. However the rooms were very dated and the tv was small. The beds were fairly comfortable for me but my husband thought it was a bit lumpy and could feel springs. The beds could use a thicker blanket or spare in the closet. Everything was very clean in the room though. Shower and water pressure were great. The pool was cold for an indoor pool and the hot tub felt great but needs to be resurfaced. “The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The room was clean. We had to travel with our dogs. There was a nice outdoor area for the dogs to use complete with bags and a place to dispose of waste. This was our second stay and we would definitely return.”
