The refrigerator in our first guest room was smelly, moldy, and didn't seem to be functioning. We were promptly given another guest room, and it smelled funny . . . Sort of like vomit. The area behind the toilet in our second guest room really needed a good cleaning. One of the towels in our second guest room was visibly very dirty and stained, and when I brought this to the attention of the desk clerk -- politely -- he actually didn't know what to do about it, so I had to ASK HIM for another towel. Many of the doors and hand-railings throughout the motel -- as well as light switches and other high-contact areas -- are quite dirty and need a good washing. The "paint repairs" on many of the doors in the building are super-messy, as if they were painted by a blindfolded four-year old; there was no pride involved. I just don't understand some of the thinking involved here. === I have stayed at this motel quite a few times over the last 19 years; it was a dump for a while, but then new management new took over and completed a lot of important updates. A few years ago, the motel was again taken over by new management, and maintenance is simply not going in the right direction . . . I worry that they're going to let the place go down the tubes again. :-( "
