"Beautiful place, beautiful views. The management team responded pretty quickly to texts/emails. Reply was "we'll get with our team." When we checked in at 4:00, the pool did not work. A nice gentleman came out and got it working, but still we were without that important amenity for probably 20 hours out of our 42 hour stay. Then we lost all water to the house, which meant no taps, no toilets for several hours. We were about to just leave early, but water was eventually restored. I requested...

" Nottely River Retreat"

10/10 Excellent

"We had a ball tubing short distances in the day around 1pm to 3 pm at 5pm it starts to get deep and faster water flow we had a 6 year old with us. The beds were super comfortable and kitchen was well stoked. We loved loved the blackstone grill,bought one for ourselves upon returning home. :) sorry we forgot cooked food in the refrigerator. We were meaning to bring the cooked dog food and the hibachi veggies and meat home sorry you had to dispose of it. This home is amazing we didn't want to leave, my 6 year old granddaughter said I don't want to leave the other house, that speaks volumes. We will plan ahead to rent this home for future vacations!"

"Everything was spot on. The only issue we had was the inability to log into the Sonos to have outdoor speakers. We tried several of the apps and though it seemed to connect to patio speakers we never heard sounds. We communicated this the first day and never heard back. We spent most of our time outside so this would've been nice. We did have the portable Bluetooth speaker but not the same as all the speakers they had all over. I would give 5 stars all the way if this had been handled."

"A perfect cabin for a long weekend getaway. My only complaint would be that the hot tub had a bit of a smell to it and the seats were a little slimy. Other than that, the cabin itself was clean and cozy. The inner tubes provided were put to good use in the creek, although it was a little difficult getting down into the water. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again."

"Not enough soap was provided. Only one small bar that we had to use for washing hands and showers. I guess I could have asked for more, but I expect to have one for the sink and a second one for the shower. Plenty of towels, though. The breakfast was adequate. The coffee was good. The walls are a little thin. The room next to ours had the TV going all night. It wasn't loud, but you could still hear it. The AC worked well. The bed was very comfortable, and the pillows were just right, not too big or too flat. We were only there for one night, and we got in very late and left well before check out time so we did not take advantage of any amenities. The staff was friendly enough, but we were smelly BMT hikers and probably looked like homeless people so I didn't expect too much hospitality. Check in and check out were both very efficient."

"Check-in was very easy and straightforward. Since cell phone service is limited in the area, I would recommend taking a screenshot of the check-in instructions and Wi-Fi password beforehand, just in case you aren't connected when you arrive.When we first checked in, we noticed that a few pieces of the furniture could have used a little more attention when it came to cleaning. However, we reached out to the host, and they responded incredibly quickly. They were very understanding, helpful, and even offered us a couple of options to make things right, which we really appreciated. Their excellent communication and willingness to help definitely made a difference.The property itself is absolutely beautiful, and the views are incredible! The hot tub was the perfect spot to sit back, relax, and take in the scenery. It was peaceful, private, and made for a wonderful escape from the everyday hustle and bustle.Overall, we had an amazing stay and truly enjoyed our time here. Despite the minor cleanliness issue, the host's responsiveness, the beautiful property, and the breathtaking views made this a wonderful experience. We would absolutely recommend this place, especially for anyone looking for a relaxing and romantic getaway. We would happily stay here again!"
