“The kitchen was great! Thanks for labeling so it was easy to find what we were looking for. We were going to start a fire but the starter was broken and we couldn’t find matches but that was ok. Just thought you should know.The grill and outdoor griddle were clean and we enjoyed using them.”

“We come every year in September and stay at this house this year we came in September and December. Only real complaint we have is the quality and amount of toilet paper that is provided. We usually bring our own or have to go buy some and that shouldn't be a thing. ”

“First, finding the house was a bit of a challenge. It's a bit hidden from the main road and not all map programs seemed to know where to go. The host is trying to get that corrected. The online photos did make the rooms look a bit larger than they actually were, AND we old folks with bad knees found the stairs to the bedrooms a bit challenging, but other than that, it was the perfect headquarters for a long overdue family reunion. The host was amazing, responding instantly every time I called...

“Plenty of space for our group of 6 adults. The futon in the living room could use replacing as one corner of the back of it was bent/broken so we didn't trust it would hold anyone sitting or leaning back on that side. But other than that, the place was neat, clean and nice. The hosts were responsive and the neighborhood was quiet.”

“This is a beautiful property! We never turned on a TV, but there are several screens throughout. The host has filled the home with anything a guest may need, and communication was amazing. The pool and lounge area was well used when the weather allowed. We appreciated the feeling of solitude while being close to everything.”

“I live in a noisy city and neighbourhood, so it was nice to stay at a place in a small town without homes close to each other where we could unwind after spending the day out and about. Access was easy, the beds were comfortable, and we had no issues making it a temporary home. Cute place. ”

“The location was slightly hard to find but the inside of the house was beautiful and there was plenty of room! We had 6 adults (3 couples) and one toddler and we all had plenty of room! We enjoyed this hope and will definitely be coming back in the future.”

“Enjoyed our stay at GMa Cabin. A huge house with plenty of rooms and beds for multiple clans. Only negative comment is there was no toilet paper and counters and dishes were a little dusty. Definitely not a deal killer. Beautiful surroundings with plenty to do 20 minutes back towards KC.”

“We were in town for a funeral with family and extended family. It was really great - with lots of space to spread out, and also a great location.”

“We really enjoyed our stay! It is a very clean and beautiful home. Definitely recommend. ”

“We had one little issue with the WiFi because Century Link went down on Sunday so we had no Internet the last three days of our stay. This was not due to the host, however, because she was not aware of the Century Link shut down.”

“The property was beautifully decorated, very contemporary. Very large bedrooms all with king size beds, multiple outlets and hook ups for phones. Very clean, and it seemed like every need was anticipated. Amenities in the bathrooms and kitchen were ample for our stay! Neighborhood was older but quiet. I walked my dog everyday in the surrounding area and felt very safe. Even chatted with neighbors. This worked perfect for us to use as a home base as we visited with family that live in the area....

“My daughter and I enjoyed our stay at this house. It was a cute little house, decorated nicely, with three bedrooms with clean, comfy beds and a kitchen stocked with some essentials, notably coffee. Our host was very gracious and communicative.I would definitely recommend, and the next time I have business in the area, I will be staying here”

“Quiet and cute! Listing and photos accurate. Perfect little spot to explore the area.”

“Everything was clean and comfortable. Wi-Fi was spotty however we experienced storms so that was understandable. We couldn’t figure out the TV but we were visiting with friends so found it unnecessary. Laundry facilities were welcome. Horse farm offered fun views”

“Beautifully done restoration on a historic house. Only thing wrong was for as beautiful as the house was, the toilet paper was cheap cheap wiping with sandpaper. Bring your own TP.”
