“This is a great little place to stay between KC and STL. Its in a small quiet town with a few places to eat. The hotel has been renovated and my room was clean and comfortable. Support this local business!”

“I have no idea how this property has a good rating on the Expedia site. That was not our experience. The room was not clean with wrappers on the floor and a dirty towel on the shelf. We arrived later in the evening and when we got up the next morning all I wanted just wanted to get out of there. I did speak with the staff and she said I should have asked for another room. Lesson learned. No apology.”

“This was a scary stay. I told my kids that I thought that I was staying at the Bates Motel (google the movie Psycho if you are not familiar). It is in a desolate area and gave off a creepy vibe. The parking lot has huge potholes. The room itself was pretty good. I have no complaints there. No coffee or breakfast available in the morning. Good internet connection, which was an issue with other hotels that I have stayed at. I would not stay here again.”

“We had a great stay at this cabin. It was clean and just the right size for two. The porch and its string lights were an especially cozy space to enjoy the evening and dinner in. The extra items provided were useful too, especially the fire starter and wasp spray. We'd definitely stay here again!”

“My two dogs and I enjoyed this stay! We had our rental for a week and I felt very welcomed. I had everything I needed for the week (such as essentials) from the host and the yard/neighborhood is beautiful, very spacious for the dogs.”

“The property is absolutely wonderful & includes private entrance next door to Baileys. The downstairs coffee shop was a concern prior to booking since we are not "early birds". No issues with noise waking us. It was quite nice to walk downstairs & enjoy coffee & lunch. The unit included security locks with chime when the door is opened/closed & auto-lock. This convenient & reassuring feature provided easy access while giving peace of mind that we would hear if anyone were to enter. As the unit……

“This cabin has it all. Super comfortable beds, wonderful floor plan and an ideal view of the lake. So clean and well decorated. We didn’t want to leave!!! The kitchen was very well laid out allowing us to fix meals without running into each other. Plus it had all the amenities to enjoy a family sit down. The living room was quite large and allowed us all to stretch out after our hike about. The beds were lovely and we slept beautifully. I love that the bedroom also had a charging station for……
