They didn’t mention before booking that it is prohibited to eat in the rooms or you receive an 80€ fine … also there was a smoking area right outside our room so the room filled with smell of cigs every few hours. The breakfast was weak, nothing freshly cooked and not worth the money. The shower was good and the host was very friendly. Too far from downtown.

⸻ The place was clean enough, but there was a noticeable funky smell in the hallway. The provided shampoo, soap, and towels were very basic, so it’s better to bring your own if you can. Breakfast was decent. The location is a bit far from the city center, though there’s a bus stop nearby—just note that weekend service isn’t very frequent. Also, there aren’t any restaurants within walking distance.

This was the best stay that we had in all of our travels through Europe. The room was spacious, clean and cool. The host was amazing every morning he would cook for us, Whatever we wanted for breakfast. He helped us guide our way through the city helped us find the easiest ways back-and-forth and every day would give us advice. It was a wonderful stay and we were able to check in at 1:30 in the morning. He catered to every need! I would definitely stay there again!

Very pleasant room, good facilities, modern, felt secure, accommodation welcoming - nice that they messaged to ask when we would arrive in the afternoon. Great location. Having stayed on the Arno previously, I noticed how very quiet it was, and still an easy, quick walk (for those who do walk lots) from the heart, offering an excellent route to the Piazzale Michelangelo and in easy reach of the Boboli Gardens. Would definitely stay again.

Our trip to Firenze was made memorable by our stay at Villa Gelsomino Garden. Our room was clean and spacious. Marzio was a wonderful host who made sure all our needs were met. He gave us great recommendations re: Florence including where to have the best lampredotto (Nerbone in Mercato Centrale) and his rec was spot-on. Although the hotel was not near the city center, it is a convenient bus ride to the city center with the bus stop right across the street. We felt we were in a home away from home. We would definitely book again with Villa Gelsomino Garden if we come back to Florence.

From the time I arrived, Marzio was extremely helpful and accommodating. He went out of his way to make sure I could get settled in. Marzio was always friendly and seemed to extend his hospitality to all guests with anything they needed. There was a nice breakfast spread and I believe dinner is available if you request it. The room was clean, cool and comfortable (necessary for hot, summer days!) The location is a little ways from the city center but accessible by a local bus or walking down the hill. All in all, i am glad I chose GG for my stay in Firenze!

Breakfast offered for 8Euros. room was good size.Property charged for parking during check-in and did not notify that we needed to get from them a touchless key to activate the gate. We were not able to leave when we needed to. Property did not reply to communications sent; therefore, we had to wait until business hours to get our car and leave. Everything else was fine. It was a good place to stay.

We were greeted with kindness and the communication was easy. We chose a very nice room, quiete. The room was nicer than expected the pictures didn't do it justice.
