The location of this property was amazing! It was so convenient to have a hotel close to the tourist sites and restaurants. Everything we wanted to see was in a 5-20 min walk from the hotel so we could always come back to the hotel if we wanted to take a break. Restaurant options are also varied and close to the hotel. The room was big for three people which was great but there was no window so it was dark in the room and there was a strange sewage smell. There was also no milk given to us with our coffee and teas in the room. The plugs were also a bit awkward as some of them were for USB chargers only or the one next to a bed was for a different type of plug compared to the other sockets. But these were not huge issues. Breakfast options are quite basic but good enough for me. Staff are friendly and helpful.

We arrived and exited 20 minutes later. The area is unsafe and the room did not lock, it was broken. I still had to pay one nights fee for an unsafe and insecure location .

We had such a great experience at Globus Urban Hotel and highly recommend others to stay here during their time in Florence. We stayed in an economy twin room that was clean and a sufficient space for two people. Our favorite part of Globus Urban Hotel was the staff and service - we were given a welcome drink, handwritten note and biscuits, complementary breakfast, and warm greetings from the staff every time we entered/exited the hotel. We will truly miss our time here and hope to come back soon!
