This hotel was great. Cozy room. Housekeeping is done daily. There is a roof top restaurant that serves breakfast daily which was yummy. The wifi was excellant. We stayed seven nights and were sad to go. It is literally right beside the Ponte Vecchio. Busy area but room was quite.

I stayed for a week at this hotel. Great location, clean, decent breakfast. Hotel staff, with the exception of Gio, a very friendly waiter in the breakfast room, is not particularly friendly or welcoming. No cardless entry to the room. My room, 211, was not really decorated-it felt more like a private room in a hostel. Fiberglass tub. The hall has maroon carpeting that runs part way up the wall. I was expecting much more after reading the reviews. This is a very basic hotel.

Pros: Location
Cons: Nothing needs improving
Location: The location is the best thing about it. You can walk to the Duomo, Uffizi, Academia, Piazza Michaelangelo, anywhere really in the historic district
The hotel was perfect. The staff was friendly and helpful. We were up graded to a junior suite because we needed two beds. The breakfast every morning was delicious with many choices. The hotel is right at the end of the Ponte Vecchio, so it is an easy walk to all main attractions. There are many restaurants within easy walking distance as well.

Pros: The sitting room is lovely
Cons: Different herb teas at breakfast would be good
Location: So close to all of the historic part of Florence.
A very pleasant stay in Florence with my husband. The hotel is next to the Ponte Vechio, so very easy walking to the main historical parts of Florence. Lovely room with amazing views of Florence. Comfortable, well equipped and very clean. The view from the Resturant was lovely. You could see the Duomo etc. Recommended.

Pros: Situation and staff.
Cons: Breakfast coffee and toast.
Location: So many. W must have walked miles. The hotel was very central and we recommend the OI restaurant near the gate south of the river. Ask at reception
A lovely hotel with a fascinating history. Our rooms had amazing views of the Ponte Vecchio, but was very quiet. We had a fantastic stay, but were disappointed with the standard of the breakfast. We realised that due to the constrictions of the mediaeval tower the kitchen is limited, but the quality of the coffee and the bread for toasting were disappointing and not up to scratch, especially for a 4 star Italian hotel! All staff were very helpful from reception to a charming waiter at dinner on our first night. We will be back, but hope for better breakfasts.

Pros: The situation and cleanliness was exemplary
Location: Right next to the prettiest most unusual bridge we've seen, and walking distance of all sights.
Booked holiday for husbands birthday, and we were delighted with the accommodation, so close to the sights, all walking distance and also very close to a variety of restaurants. The staff were friendly and so helpful, we cannot praise them enough. The included breakfast gave us a really good start to the day, the staff here were most helpful too. Would recommend this hotel to anyone! Thank you to all at Hotel Pitti Palace.

Pros: It's location and views from the 6th floor bar and terrace.
Location: Literally across the street from the Ponte Vecchio. Things to do? Dodge scooters, cyclists, run a marathon...oh, and, visit Florence's great sights.
Hotel check in was simple and smooth, the room was fine, there was a very good range of food for breakfast and excellent views of the city from the 6th floor breakfast room that doubled as wine bar/restaurant.

Pros: The staff was friendly, the room was clean, the breakfast was very nice and the breakfast room had a beautiful view of Florence.
Cons: Nothing
Location: It's Florence----lots to do and see
Surprisingly, our room was fairly quiet. Considering the large crowds of people at the Ponte Vecchio, I was worried that it would be noisy in our room. While there was some street noise and occasional Vespa traffic, the room, on the fifth floor, was comfortable for us. We enjoyed the hotel two cats, Tequila and Gin!!!
