The front desk staff were so kind and helpful. They made reservations for us for a wonderful Tuscan restaurant and that meal was one of the highlights of our visit.

Location is convenient to walk from the train station. Our only issue was we got bit by bed bugs. I regret not showing the bed bug nymph we saw as I initially was in doubt; however, on our last night we found bites in the morning. Hotel was notified so they could santiize and disinfect the room, but their response was defensive and dismissive

Staff and accommodations were lovely for our two night stay in Florence. Very convenient to S.M train station (6 minute walk). Unless familiar with Florence (we weren't), I suggest studying map in advance of walk from train station, as google maps directions as well as hotel website show address as #24, but actually entry is at #34. Room, bed, layout and bath were very comfortable and much enjoyed and appreciated by these weary travelers. The included hot and cold breakfast was very good and included many offerings. The hotel's location is very convenient to the main tourist sights and attractions. If we should find ourselves returning to Florence, we would most definitely want to stay here again.

Wow, what a wonderful and amazing property this is. From the gentleman who greeted us at the front (I am ashamed I can’t remember his name right now - Dark beard, handsome guy) he was so sweet and kind in explaining to us the city and where we were in relation to everything around us. He even provided us some options for the New Year’s Eve which we ended up taking him up on. The hotel is Rolex/watch themed, so there are watch memorabilia all over the hotel, classy to say the least. Once we got to our room, we were overwhelmed by how nice it was. Cabrera marble floors and walls in the bathroom, heated towel rack. The watch theme extends as far as the handles on the sink and the bidet - they mimic a crown on a watch. The anterior to the bedroom was equipped with a wonderful closet for both myself and my wife’s clothes - plenty of space. The bedroom itself was cozy with a desk and the right amount of lighting. The window dressing reminded me of a prom dress with lots of flowing curtains. What I later found out was that the bedroom was silent, it had sound insulation as I could not hear any of the Beverly or fireworks of NYE, that I could hear from teh bathroom. All in all this was one of our favorite hotels of all time to stay in. You’re a 10 minute walk - max - from anywhere you want to go or be in the city of Florence. Eventually you find your way around the city and find that this is just about the perfect spot.

This property is very unique and very clean. I'm surprised why it is only a 4 star hotel and why not a 5 star. It is one of the best hotels I ever stayed in. definitely top notch
