Beautiful hotel in the heart of the walled city. Very convenient. Accommodating staff.

Great location, great facilities, nice staff

This hotel is a true gem in Avignon. I stayed for one night and wish I could have stayed longer to enjoy the property. My room was comfortable with a great AC, a little balcony, and stocked with an array of high end bath products. The central garden was a beautiful spot to rest after a day of walking around. The star of the hotel, though, is the gentleman who oversees the property. He was incredibly kind and helpful, going out of his way to give recommendations, make reservations, and ensure the guests felt well taken care of. I will return on my next visit to Avignon.

Good location, quiet room, and the woman who checked us in (Laura) was very helpful telling us where to eat and visit, BUT: 1. The air conditioning (A/C) does not cool the room at all and 2. Despite having an 1100 checkout, we were asked at 0700 when we would checkout, someone knocked on our door at 1030, called the room repeatedly starting at 1045, and knocked on the door at 1050. (We think the cleaning woman was pressuring the receptionist to rush us out.) We left at 1057. Either you have an 1100 checkout or you don’t; stop harassing your customers. We will not return!
