It was a beautiful cabin. The front porch was perfect for sitting out watching the wildlife and enjoying the peace and quiet. The cabin was well stocked with snacks and water. The host was extremely friendly and helpful. We will definitely be going back.

Best Cabin Rental in Fredericksburg
You need to stay at this cabin!!! You will not regret it!! Hands down the best vacation rental we have stayed at! This cabin is the perfect distance from Fredericksburg and still allows you the peace and quiet of hill country. Tracy Merz is an excellent host and made us feel welcome and like family! We were personally escorted to the cabin when we first arrived and felt at home right away! The cabin has everything you could ever need and is well taken care of. The rustic decor is very unique and adds the the cabins charm. The cabin is also very spacious and has a comfortable bed and living room seating. The best part of staying at this cabin is the amazing views and sunsets from the deck! There are also lots of opportunities for viewing wildlife!

This is a very peaceful location. We enjoyed sitting outside and watching the hummingbirds. On the drive into town, we saw all kinds of wildlife. It was a beautiful location with all the necessary amenities - tv, internet, comfortable bed! Wish we could go back!

Best place to escape this city
Miles from town, this is a beautiful property to appreciate nature. We spent most of our stay on the porch watching birds, wild hogs, wild turkeys and deer. It’s so quiet, I had forgotten what that was like! Excellent stargazing too. Tracy is a phenomenal host. The bed and sheets were so comfortable. I have never seen a VRBO so well stocked. We loved it so much that we skipped our dinner reservation in town and grilled out instead. Do yourself a favor and read the history of the property that Tracy provides. I think we have found our new home away from home.
