“This is a great property if you wish to explore the south side of the island, or if you have your own vehicle. Unfortunately it is NOT 2.5 miles from the airport or the cruise ship port. It is on the opposite side of the island, Depending on traffic, a 90 - 150 minute drive. $115 taxi drive. You can get a 3 day tourist bus pass for 1 franc (a bus ride is 4 francs) but the busses stop running at 4:00 local time. The closest grocery store (outstanding selection of fresh fruit & veggies, meats, and……

“Te Mao in realtà è costituito da due lodge: il Te Mao fronte mare e il Te Mao Garden, dall'altra parte della strada. Le foto mostrano solo quello fronte mare, che pensi di prenotare ma vieni reindirizzato al Garden, con una prima delusione. La struttura (del Garden dove sono finita) è nuova ma la pulizia lenta e pigra (2 giorni su 3) per togliere dal corridoio le sacche di panni sporchi. Insomma non un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, ma comunque a 10 minuti a piedi dall'aeroporto e in una zona……

The fishing was great and Captain was amazing. They even cooked the fish we caught and the chef was superb. It’s very easy to relax and unwind from the American hustle and bustle at Aotera. The host was very welcoming, friendly and helpful during the whole stay. It definitely was a week in paradise.”
