Very nice rooms

Lamp Lighter Inn has been around for a long time. I came back to the area for a high school reunion and was pleasantly surprised to find the Inn was renovated with beautiful, functional rooms.

Cute Lil Spot

Super cute lil spot. Only about 30-40 minute drive to Sequoia National Park. Would definitely stay here again. Nice location, close to shops. Looks vintage on the outside but nice and remodeled on the inside.

Stayed here many times around the pool area and rooms were typically nice and in good shape. This is not and never will be a luxury motel i understand. This time i got the back rooms whis had a weird musty smell, tub bottom severly cracked and stained. Needed a remodel a ling time ago. If i come back will ask to be in a poolside room as wint accept the other next time

Ok basic room for the low price. AC was not on when we arrived so it was over 100 degrees at 8:00 and it was a small AC unit so it was miserable for first few hrs and hard to fall asleep for the family. Bed was comfortable after AC kicked in and bathroom was clean. Rooms need updating but cool retro motel! Safe place and appreciate they allow dogs.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Lamp liter inn. It takes me back to a time when staying at a fine hotel was an experience you had with an outdoor courtyard and pool view. Totally 60s vibe. Our room was spacious and super clean and we had a great night sleep. The mattress felt new and the bedding was crisp clean and white. Same with the bath towels. I will definitely stay there again.

The Lamp Liter punches above its weight in terms of nice clean rooms at a reasonable price. It seems it is going through a bit of a refurbishment. The room I got was comfortable and modern and I got a really good sleep. It’s close to the freeway, which is convenient, but maybe the only negative.

Need to clean behind nightstands and carpet needs deep clean or just get new carpet. It was to be no smoking, but burn marks were everywhere. That being said, the garden area by the pool was beautiful.

Conditions of room extremely poor. Dirty, dusty. It appeared sheets had not been laundered. Holes in sheets due to Cigarette smoking. Smoke alarm removed perhaps by a smoker. Trash all over hallway. Note that we have stayed here previously on several occasions, however very disappointing this time. Brought up to the attention of front desk staff and he was very apologetic.

Have stayed at LampLiter for years, mostly with Eastern Star Masonic group. Always familiar, clean and safe. Now travel back and forth from Yucca Valley and Redding. Previous owners kept it quaint and nice. Happy to see it being taken care of and getting updated.
