“This boutique hotel is by far the best I’ve ever stayed at. The property is amazing and so unique you won’t find another like it in the area. Upon arrival we were greeted with ice cold water and property/room shown, smelled very fresh and clean because it was. The staff and security is very friendly and kind making you feel right at home, the bed was comfortable and the cleaning crew did a great job. Pool is clean and big situated right in the middle of the property hardly see or hear anyone on……

“First, we arrived by car and the road leading to Lagarta Lodge was rough to navigate, but once we arrived we were thrilled. Daniel greeted us in the lobby with a special drink and a hot moist cloth to was our hands. Our room had a panoramic view of the ocean and sunset. Our balcony was furnished with chairs, a table and a hammock. There were 3 infinity pools (one with a bar and one was a hot tub). Dining on site while watching the sunset was nothing short of remarkable. There was a complimentary……

“Unsure what makes this an eco retreat aside from the fact they ask you to bring your own water bottle to refill with water they provide and there is no hot water for showers. The property has a lot of potential but it felt maybe slightly neglected. There was a lot of debris on the ground, the kitchen area was really dirty and the room had rusty racks and shower curtains that allowed water to spray out all over the floor. With that said, it is the cheapest option in the area (a fantastic……

“Great overall just one really inconvenient thing was that for our 3 night stay we had to change room every single day which was a hassle and forced us to be at the property to do the moving every day at 1pm when we could have been at the beach or in town. ”

“Extremely secure and secluded. Villa to villa distance is quite far and we could not see or hear anyone else. Grounds are very large, beach is pretty much private but you should know it’s a bit of a walk from some of the villas around to the restaurant and beach. Private pool was very nice and overall good stay. Staff were friendly and helpful and very easy to communicate with, 10/10 for the staff! ”
