“Everything was wonderful and clean. I just suggest that they may need to do a little updating and painting. Just a refresher would go along way. But a great place to stay a night or two. Staff is wonderful and they have a very nice setup for breakfast.”

“The beds are of poor quality, so if you have a bad lower back, your going to be in bad shape. Suggestion, bring a bed topper and your own pillow. You'll be glad you did. Outside pool is pleasant enough to dip in and sunbathe. They have white LED lights in the room, so if you're not a big fan of those (I'm not) you'll have to deal with it. I bought some soft yellow at Walmart to ease the brightness. You're less than 5 minutes from DT Galena. Gas/Convenient store is just down the road. Drugstore……

“The room needs attention, the fan in the bathroom was loud, the door handle for the deck was loose, and the deck boards were rotten.”

“Absolute amazing weekend with my husband away from everything to celebrate our anniversary. The staff was amazing, so friendly. The room was beautiful, the view was amazing, the food was to die for at the restaurant downstairs. Could not have asked for a better place to enjoy with my husband. Will definitely be back!!”

“We had an amazing stay at Mont Rest! Hearing the history from Chris (the owner) was an added treat! So crazy to see how she saved the property not once, but twice! The staff was exceptional. The breakfast was incredible. I loved that there wasn't a huge push to get people checked out. Our room was lovely and well appointed! We cannot wait to schedule another long weekend in Bellevue!”

“One thing I didn't like was that since the last time we stayed there, they eliminated the coin vending machines that used to be located by the ice machines. Although we usually bring bottled soda along with us on our trips here, it's nice to have an alternative, although fairly expensive. Our only other option this time was to go down to the front desk and and pay $3 for a lousy 12 oz. can of soda, or go to either the bar and order a glass of soda, or go to the casino to get a small paper cup of……
