“This hotel is the epitome of mediocre; while we enjoyed the proximity to downtown Galena the hotel itself is in desperate need of a refresh. The rooms were decently clean; small debris was not vacuumed from the corners, stained chairs, our room (211) had water stains on the ceiling, and an annoying tapping in the wall, the room lacked an ironing board, and the ice bucket lacked a bag. The game room is a nice feature; however, many of the games were broken and simply ate our tokens, the pool is……

“The beds are of poor quality, so if you have a bad lower back, your going to be in bad shape. Suggestion, bring a bed topper and your own pillow. You'll be glad you did. Outside pool is pleasant enough to dip in and sunbathe. They have white LED lights in the room, so if you're not a big fan of those (I'm not) you'll have to deal with it. I bought some soft yellow at Walmart to ease the brightness. You're less than 5 minutes from DT Galena. Gas/Convenient store is just down the road. Drugstore……
