"This is my second stay at Hotel Riviera. The rooms seem a bit dated but otherwise no complaints. Staff is amazing and speak English, check in took about 3 minutes. Location is great just outside Gangnam-dong tourists areas. It is about a 20 minute walk to COEX there are a few eateries nearby. Breakfast buffet is adequate and the coffee is decent. Pool is nice and the staff was extremely helpful. I will stay here again on my next visit to Seoul for sure."

"the hotel was very clean (except on the men’s toilet in the lobby when used 1 day (stayed 7 nights). so many std rules to use the swimming pool that foreigner such as i am not aware of. surprisingly, beyond the desk agents and bellmen, english was practically not usable on my encounters. luv the grandness and luxurious historical interior. "The bed was very hard and difficult to sleep on. It was also very hot. We couldnt find any controls for the floor heating so we had to sleep with the window open. But the bath was nice and it was a sizeable room. The staff was also very helpful and held our bags for us. "

"I had booked the

room, and upon walking in, found stains all over the carpet. The room was a bit small but was fine. The mirrors on the wall easily fogged over, no matter if you closed the door to the bathroom. This meant that the slick wood panels on the floor were soaked when the mirrors dried off. The bathtub was a nice feature. It is located in a nice area of Bupyeong with lots of food and entertainment around, and not too loud at night. It was an ok stay in a love motel, but not really...

"The property is beautiful and walking around the grounds at night was peaceful. The food was amazing and the service and staff friendliness was superb. There is a convenience store at the pool / suites area you can buy snacks from. You can take a shuttle to gimpo Airport. My room was very clean and nicely layed out and decorated. Plenty of amenities and the floor manager even remembered my name which was nice. This is moreso a luxury hotel for travelers coming / going from airport."
