“There were a lot of stairs to drag everything up that maybe would have been nice to know ahead of time. There was a chirping smoke alarm we had to take down and remove the battery and they never brought us a new battery like they said they would. The bathroom floor needed sweeping. The kitchen was well stocked and the location was good and really beautiful. ”

“My husband and I LOVED this stay. The river was lovely and the deer, cows and calves all greeted us as we drove to the cabin. We were the only ones there for a while and honestly, I just pretended like I was finally on my own little ranch. Even though the first day was super cold, the barn was welcoming and warm. We played horse shoes, and sat and rocked for a while and watched the animals surround us and thanked the lord for creating such a wonderful place. We brought our own snacks and coffee……

“This is very good value property to stay at if you are visiting Capitol Reef (and you should!). Room is fine for a couple of nights. Best features however are games room, laundry, and chickens. Highly recommended if you need to balance the budget after more expensive accommodation elsewhere”
