“ Booked overnight stay following a music event nearby. Booked Riverside Hotel, but they obviously own several properties nearby. Our room was in a converted house up a side road so sadly no Riverside view. Room was very preventable. Needs a net curtain at window to aid privacy, better quality mattresses and pillows. Cleaner needs to look up & dust light fittings. ”

“Jean made us very welcome, nothing was too much trouble. The room was beautifully clean and fully stocked with teas, coffees etc. Only a 20 minute walk to the pier. Ideal after enjoying a hearty breakfast.

“This was our second visit to Beaufort Lodge and again it was perfect. The location is ideal for Norwich City access, with the centre only a 15 minute walk away. Parking is on site off a relatively quiet residential main road. Our room was comfortable and quiet with a lovely usable seating area just outside our door. The Breakfast room is relaxed being situated alongside a well maintained garden, the food was very tasty, with plenty of coffee or tea and the hosts were extremely accommodating. All……

“The room was spotless and cleaned every day. It is minutes from the seafront. Check in and out was so easy and everyone was very friendly. i didn't have en-suite as I was in the single room but the separate toilets and shower were just at the end of the hall and were cleaned everyday.
The only downside was there is a small window overlooking the indoor stairwell in the room and if the hall lights are on it shines into the room. They have tried to counteract this with a blind but it still lights……

“We stayed here due to a wedding at nearby Bruisyard. It was a lovely stay and I couldn’t fault it, a beautiful setting full of nature and a very well preserved property. Liz was very accommodating allowing us to drop our luggage and car off earlier than check in; we also came down to a very very nice breakfast with something for everyone. ”
