Upon checking in on September 4, 2026 after driving from North Carolina we were greeted in our room late at night at approximately 85 degrees in the middle of summer. The air conditioner wasn't turned on even though I called the front desk and let them know that I would be checking in late. The shower had shampoo and conditioner attached to the shower wall however they both were completely empty and there was long hair in the shower along with pubic hair., there also was a smushed cockroach on pubic hair on the cieling in the bathroom. They offer free breakfast in the morning from 6 am to 9 am however when my family went to get breakfast there were roaches on the bar and crawling on the food, I do have photos of this! The lighting in the room was an inconvenience as we had to unplug the end table lighting as there are no buttons to turn it off and on. My brother would go outside and instantly get hit in the face with Marijuana as the person next door was smoking Marijuana blunts repeatedly. On September 6, 2026 the hotelpower was out. My husband went to the front desk to ask about it and the clerk spoke very poor english and just kept saying "no power" and said that everyone in the county lost power however the quality inn and convenience store all had power. Obviously there was no back up power for this hotel. I couldn't even ask for a refund to stay at a hotel with power because the clerk did not speak english frequently. This hotel was definitely a disappointment.

Walking distance to several restaurants. Easy access to interstate and main roads. Highly recommend NOT staying in the first floor rooms. It is incredibly noisy. I was woke from a nap by an employee blasting music from the laundry area. Also, had a dog bark incessantly though staff did resolve this. The room and especially the bathroom needs updating. The TV reception was terrible, cutting in and out constantly. Breakfast was okay. Not sure if I’d stay here again, there are several other choices in close proximity.
