“Would 100% recommend this hotel. Convenient location only a couple of mins walk from the ferry port but also far enough that it feels calm and secluded. Views from the rooms and restaurant/breakfast area are amazing, overlooking the sea. The whole place is very clean and well maintained. Staff are universally lovely and helpful! They also gave us a couple of really excellent dinner recommendations (very helpful as there are many options to weigh up in Giglio Porto) plus at check-out they kindly……

“Such a wonderful property in every way - this restored Tuscan farmhouse has been updated with all the modern comforts while preserving its Italian past. We stayed for three nights over a weekend and loved it so much we booked the same place for the next weekend! The rooms are great, bedding delicious, and breakfast a treat… The grounds are exquisitely landscaped and maintained, with amazing views stretching from mountains to sea… The staff was amazing from check in to check out; always……

“Eine Tasse Kaffee zum Frühstück war inbegriffen, jeder weitere Tasse musste bezahlt werden. Das Frühstück insgesamt für eine Nacht für einen Preis im Durchschnitt von 150,00. € war nicht angemessen. Eine Sorte Schinken, Käse etc.. einfach für uns nicht akzeptabel… sehr enttäuschend”

“This property was excellent! We got a junior suite , Room 306, which had a small balcony and a beautiful view of the ocean. You get to pick what lawn chairs you will be using and they remain yours for the entire stay! Brilliant. Nice patio bar and area for lunch. Quiet, chill with some families.”

La navetta gratuita all'arrivo ed alla partenza nonchè per andare la sera a giglio porto e durante il giorno alle spiagge è il valore aggiunto. La stanza piccolina, ma pulita. “Great location if wanting to explore the many beaches, we did many seaside drives, staff very friendly, absolutely love that I was able to text back-and-forth with the front desk with any questions or concerns on the WhatsApp. They helped us get contact information for the nearby horse stables and also offer a shuttle service for us to take the shuttle to the train to go to Rome.We traveled with a two year-old and a four-year-old -property was safe and well maintained for them. they could……

“A truly unique experience! The amount of works that Mario and Paola have put in to give a new life for this 1883 light house and to share with other travelers are simply remarkable. Also, everything has to be brought in from outside through parts non paved rocky road with a jeep in order to cover guests’ needs, the intention is more than running a business but much larger than life. I’m truly grateful to have this experience at Faro da Paola e Mario!!! ”
