“Staff was really unprofessional. They kicked us out of the hotel. They said the room smelled like smoke even though no one was smoking in the room. We smoked outside and even told the staff that. Asked them to look on the cameras and they could clearly see me outside smoking. Also asked them to come in and check the room out for themselves. They refused to even look in the room. They just kicked us out with no proof whatsoever. This hotel is just a scam to steal peoples money. Not to mention……

“This was a very nice surprise stay. Beautiful old building, the Chapel is lovely. The white linen breakfast was first class...the Speak Easy food was great as well....the only thing I would suggest...a step up to the bed (for the old people)....it is very high off the floor and hard to navigate for someone older, however the bed was very comfortable. We had a great time speaking to the owner who was just so sweet. I would give the whole experience an 10 for sure.....”

“Room was clean,AC worked well, bathroom was clean with plenty of towels and great water pressure in the shower. The bed was hard and the pillows were not comfortable which caused a restless night of sleep. The breakfast was ok but could have offered more selections. Other than the hard bed it not a bad place to stay”

“African-American male who told me his name was Ken without a name tag was very rude he belongs working for the IRS or collections he asked me for my ID and credit card I placed them a few inches from his fingers he asked me three more times with an attitude to put them into his hands I told him I would not and I didn't like his attitude will not be back”

“The big mistake: The designer! Tons of expensive features implemented terribly! Room lights are bright like a stadium, ambient light above bed might have been nice if it were on a separate switch from the stadium lights, parking lot lights flash, Venetian blinds don’t successfully block outside lights, no ice machine in building, bathroom light above shower so bright I turned it off, which means the fan doesn’t run, which means the bathroom will end up moldy. Seating not comfortable. I’d have……

“The hotel is obviously an older property, however it has been recently updated. The hotel was clean, quiet, and met all of our needs perfectly. We had no problems at the location, it was a good experience. We have family in the area that we travel to see a few times a year. We will continue to use this hotel in years to come.”
