"The hotel was excellent from the parking lot to the room. Front desk checkin was super nice and accommodating! Morning "breakfast" gentleman was AMAZING! You can tell he takes so much pride in his job, from greeting to ensuring food is maintained to keeping tables clean! He was so sweet! Gentleman in the parking lot was doing a great job too! We informed "cleaning" that we were leaving and he made sure to tell us to have a safe trip and thanked us for letting him know we were checking out! We will absolutely stay there again!! Oh, and the room was CLEAN! Whoever designed the rooms did an amazing job! Thanks for the GREAT STAY!"

"When we checked in, the person on duty told us our room was just to the right…. Turns out it was all the way down at the end of the hall, so we could have parked down there instead of carrying our luggage so far, but at the same time there were people smoking at that entrance, so every time someone came in and out, the smoke drifted into our room. Sheets had stains on them, the bathroom sink barely drained at all. The mattress sunk down in the middle and instead of regular pillow, there were a bunch of small weird ones. We went to breakfast fairly early, but the quality and amount available were both poor. The waffle maker had no instructions so there was a crowd of people messing up waffles and taking so much time that we could not make one before leaving. The sausage was kind of white inside and did not even look like real meat, and the bacon ran out early and no more was put out. I realize this was not a 4 star property, but cleanliness and maintenance can’t be compromised. The best thing I can say about this property is that the water pressure in the shower was good."

"Unsecured parking. Dirty room. Very old and dated. No food or bar. Looks semi-deserted. Very warm water (but never hot), which took forever to get warm. My wife had to unclog the bathroom sink using her tweezers. It would not drain at all. Fortunately, we were only in the hotel to sleep at night. Not many choices to stay downtown Lynchburg unless one has $ to burn."
