"Loved our stay here. Hotel had amazing views, an excellent breakfast and a very nice bar. Things in town closed early during shoulder season so we did like that the hotel had a place to hang out at night. There were large tour groups staying that could have impacted breakfast but the staff made it work and found extra seating when necessary. Spa and sauna needed a bit more instructions but was a nice option. "

"Honestly, this was the second hostel that I stayed at and it was wonderful. I couldn’t ask for a better experience. "I had great experience staying at Hotel Spinne. I was traveling solo, and the room for one person was perfect for me. The room was clean and spacious with a big patio and the view of Mount Eiger! The bathroom was a bit small but I had no problem with it. I also spent time at their spa after a long day of hiking, very relaxing! The location was also very convenient - in a walking distance from the train station, restaurants, and shops. "

"Great hotel in Grindelwald. The staff was very friendly and the complimentary breakfast was very good. We had a fantastic view of the Eiger and Monch mountains that captivated us. I suggest requesting a room with a view of these mountains as opposed to the other side that looks towards Mount First. That side isn't bad, but the view towards Eiger and Monch is fantastic. The mountains feel close enough to touch. It's a 15 to 20 minute walk to the main train station, but there are also buses...

The hotel staff are wonderful, the food is fantastic (the best steak that we have ever had!), and the location is ideal (bus stop is in the parking lot ski in ski out when there is snow). "I love family owned restaurants and hotels as they carry a legacy and this place just ticked all the boxes. Recently renovated with an amazing bathroom, great amenities and clean space to live. Bed was super comfortable. So accessible to the public transport, with options to park if needed. The entire staff was so helpful, always there to guide us.
