This one bedroom/one bathroom cottage is a great place for a family getaway. Relax under our spacious outdoor living area, while enjoying the beautiful view of the lake by day or spectacular stars at night. We have two kayaks and two paddle boards available for our guests. This property offers privacy and a great way to get away from it all. Only two hours from the DFW area, right on beautiful Possum Kingdom lake. We allow pets ($50 pet fee) . With two sleeper sofas, this house sleeps 6. We have a fully equiped kitchen, kitchen table with seating for six and island with barstools. The covered patio has a dining table and chairs, as well as, an outdoor kitchen(grill/bar/sink/fridge) for enjoying your lakeside view your entire stay!

Perfect hidden gem
This property was a lot more private than I thought it would be. As soon as we walked into the house, we were extremely happy with it. This was the perfect getaway for my family with several things to do. I picked up some beach toys for my kids prior to arriving, however, we were surprised to see some stuff already there. There were kayaks and paddle boards available. The grill and hot tub also worked great! We spent most of our time outside, but the inside was well stocked with things we might need. Communication was top notch. The owner was very responsive and kind. We definitely want to come back!

Amazing Holiday Getaway
This is our second time out at the property, and it's easily becoming our go-to holiday rental for Thanksgiving! Heidi is such a great communicator, and the home is perfect. The outdoor kitchen, the spacious living area, the comfortable bed (LOVED the flannel Christmas bedding!), and the overall serenity of the property make this a fantastic location for us and our puppy. It was so great seeing her explore the backyard and brave the cold lake! Thank you for such a wonderful home and a wonderful stay!
