Okay, first of all, we are traveling through the COVID 19 crisis, so I knew the pool would not be open...they are also not allowed to serve breakfast, so that was a surprise...not their fault at all, but just an, uggh. We had a pet room, but here is the first rule with having "pet friendly" rooms..NO CARPETING. Please. Put some tile in, or some other hard surface...maybe cleanable mats on walking areas, but the carpeting cant cover the "love" from all of the animals that came before us. We had old frayed, and somewhat stinky carpeting in the room. The room phone did not work, the bathroom fixtures are totally outdated and kind of rusty. It was a good hot shower however. Beds were comfy and seemed clean. For the price we paid through Expedia, it was doable. The breakfast would have made it better. It may be just that we were in a "pet friendly" room...perhaps the other rooms have been updated. I can't speak to that. A few weeks prior we stayed in a pet friendly room at another hotel, and it was much brighter, cheerier, (hard surface floor!) and just overall felt much cleaner. Staff was very friendly and accommodating however..
