Everything from being able to dock the boat, sitting on the Adirondack chairs, enjoying the evening air and fishing, to the great location in the house was perfect. "My family and I had a great stay at the Skylight Lodge. It is very different from other rentals, being a former inn. There is plenty of space for a big group and the two master suites are great. The fireplace in the main room is like something out of game of thrones, and was the highlight of the trip for the adults. We skied Stratton Mountain, which was less than 20 minutes away, and visited a spa / went shopping / ate at restaurants in nearby Manchester. "Overall the property was clean and tidy for our arrival. Upstairs area perfect for children/extra guests but my partner and I enjoyed the one downstairs just fine. Stairs may be a bit tough for those with walking issues (they are a bit narrow) but otherwise not bad for some 20-somethings like us! Easy access to restaurants/attractions up and down the lake and the pool was nicely kept too."
