"The front-of-house team were brilliant, especially Joseph (hopefully this shoutout helps him if there’s a mention-based bonus scheme!). Despite my early arrival and the room not being quite ready, he handled it with genuine care. Having worked in hotels for over 20 years, I know early check-in is a favour, not a guarantee – particularly in London where hotels are often at full capacity. They kindly offered me access to the gym shower room to freshen up, which I really appreciated.
My only bit of feedback is for that shower room – it could really use better ventilation. It was incredibly humid, and I noticed signs of moisture damage. On top of that, it took me nearly 45 minutes to cool down afterwards… not ideal when you’ve just changed into a suit!
The room itself was on the smaller side, but I booked the most affordable option, so no surprises there. It was very clean and quiet, a bit tired, but perfect for a one-night stay. If you’re staying longer or more than one person, I’d recommend going for one of the larger rooms.
The night manager was also great—really went the extra mile to hunt down a USB-C charger after I realised mine was still at home. Lifesaver!
All in all, despite a couple of minor quirks, the staff more than made up for it with their service and friendliness. I’ve already got another booking in a few weeks, and I’m very happy to come back."
