“Unique theme with great roooms!”

“Would have loved later opening times for the gym. Lots of flaky paint around the ceiling in the shower. Otherwise all good, very friendly staff. Would return.”

“The room itself (room 1 deluxe) is well designed & sympathetically decorated to the age of the building giving a feeling of opulence meets modern. The toilet cisterns take ages to refill but I suspect this is due to the age of the plumbing! The bed is very comfy. The downside to the room is that in the unprecedented heat there was inadequate little fan which meant leaving the french doors open during the night. This faced a main junction so traffic noise was an issue. The building itself is old……

“The hotel is outdated and needs a revamp. The passage carpets are threadbare. The good thing about the hotel is that it is centrally located. The bad thing is the street noise - from party goers to rubbish collection early in the morning. Terrible nights sleep”

“This property was no longer a guest house i had to find alternative accommodation which was difficult due to the season”

“Nice hotel but the rooms in the annex need some maintenance. Toilet holders were falling off, lights were flickering and the flush didn’t work properly. The rooms were also far too hotel with the windows not being able to be opened properly.”

“A luxury hotel stay in the country but only a mile from a lovely town. Food was excellent as were the staff. Highly recommended”

“Good: The decoration of the room is cozy and in good classic style There is a bar on the ground floor which is good Staff are nice and friendly Bad: Strong smell in the bathroom which is disgusting, we think that comes from the eroding wood The water boiler is not clean and there is even water remain inside Being asked for the room key after check out but believe their staff mixed things up (Wrong number tag on the key)”
