Private Lake, 65 Acres of Woods + Canoes & Kayaks

Private Lake, 65 Acres of Woods + Canoes & Kayaks

8/10 Good
"A very nice stay with a few issues that need to be worked out. The property was great for the price and for our group (5 families - 10 adults and 12 children). The bedrooms were very clean and comfortable and the common spaces were really great for giving us places to be together all as one group or in smaller gatherings. There were a few issues that kept it from being a 5 star stay, though. Most importantly:- The majority of the bathroom doors had issues. They didn't close, didn't lock, and on two of them, the barn doors got stuck or fell off - we are lucky we didn't have any injuries or broken items as there was always someone nearby to catch the doors when they fell.- The flooring in much of the house needs fixed, but most importantly in the dining room where a lifted tile caused several stubbed toes before we finally taped it down.We loved having the lake right there and the grounds were very well kept and comfortable. We would stay again!"

10/10 Excellent
"The pictures do not do the property justice. The setting of the house is so peaceful, but only a 15 minute drive to groceries and restaurants. We rented a boat from Captain Jacks rentals, very convenient access only a 6 minute drive from property to pick up boat, we were able to keep docked at the property for multiple days. Caught many fish and even caught a rock bass off the dock! S’mores by the fire at night and family pool games each night! JDs tap house pizza was amazing for a dinner out! 100% recommend staying here! Property was clean and the view from the front porch was perfect for coffee every morning!"
