"A convenient and affordable Pacific Highway stop, if slightly off the beaten track. The place is fine but we did feel it was perhaps a little over-marketed in the listing. The “futon” was more of a sofa (I did manage to sleep on it after requesting extra bedding), “free breakfast” was two pods for the coffee machine, pizza was not available after 6pm and if there was a beach we didn’t find it (at least 4 miles away). "Property is old and historic, and kept up extremely well. Walking the property made us feel as if we were sent back in time. Room was relatively updated and rather nice as well. Did not use amenities or restaurants. Heater had a bad smell, so we didn't use it. It was fairly noisy at times, from both outside and in the halls, as I would expect in a property of this age. Overall very nice and we would stay again."
