Great hotel for an unbeatable price

Pros: Clean, spacious, friendly staff
Location: Beaches and dining close by
Only a few miles to the beach and you save a lot of money. It's a clean, nice hotel with an excellent staff. Highly recommend for those on a budget or those who aren't. It's definitely worth the savings to sat off the beaten path. We were truly impressed with the quality.

Cons: housekeeping
Location: many places to visit, good restaurants
the housekeeping was atrocious. I am not sure that the sheets on the bed were changed every day. clearly the room was not vacuumed every day since I had dropped some talcum powder on the floor and when I came back to the room it was still there. the light switch at the door did not work, the two lights on the bedside tables were both missing the covers so you had just the bulbs. there were dead mosquitoes on the window sill so clearly had not been cleaned or dusted. one day the do not disturb sign was on my door yet your staff just opened the door without even knocking.

Disappointing

I've stayed at microtel hotels before this was the worst one.. it smelled horrible the toilet seat needed replaced. The carpet wasn't clean. All in all I just wasn't comfortable there. The only plus is the beds was comfortable.

I am sorry that you had an unpleasant experience with us recently. I would like to think that if you had notified our front desk staff about any of the deficiencies in your guestroom we would've responded immediately by reassigning a different room to you.please except my sincere apologies. I will use your feedback as a training tool to our house keeping and maintenance staff to do a better job of inspecting our rooms before making them available for rent

Enjoyed my stay. Concerned that the side doors did not require a keyed entry. Breakfast was ok, lots of carbs.

Thank you for submitting your review. I would like to alleviate your concerns about security at our property. All entrances and exits are covered by surveillance video which is monitored by the front desk staff 24 hours a day. No one can gain entrance to guestrooms withoutA key card that are issued by front desk. These cards are only issued to register guess. Anyone requesting a key card is required to produce an ID for proof of registration. I hope this answers your concerns about security in our hotel.

Room Cleanliness

There was a big pile of carpet deodorizer left hidden under the bed skirt. Which could have been dangerous if our 1 year old had gotten into it. Also every time the air conditioner ran an odd smell came. Not sure what that was about. Other than that the room served its purpose and the hotel was a good location.

Good facility. Access to hwy confusing. Staff welcoming & helpful. CNN & MSNBC were blocked or Trumped to Fox.

Thank you for taking time to write you a review. It is true that we had some channels missing from our menu on DirecTV. Today we had a DirecTV technician install all new equipment so that we can now provide high definition broadcast to our guest. All of thepanels that were in active on our old system have now been activated. We hope to see you again in the future

The air condition was not working properly all night and there was a drip in our bathroom that was never fixed. The breakfast had only instant oatmeal and cereal bars

It's smelled of smoke. I even found a cigarette butt by the bed on the floor, along with a plastic cup. I wasn't able to move rooms either.
