Great hosts! The property had everything we needed to keep all ages busy (adults, teens, pre-teens and some younger kids). There were a couple of random issues (nothing big) but the hosts immediately took care of things! Very responsive!!!

Great beach house for our family!

Great beach house for our family. Everything you could need and not have to bring - from a fully stocked kitchen to beach towels and sand toys! Bedrooms were spacious and there were multiple decks and places to have privacy or gather. We enjoyed bonfires in the backyard and my parents loved sitting on the dock enjoying the peaceful lagoon side while kids loved the beach access.

Perfect for the Holidays

I would recommend this to everyone!

My husband and I just needed a few days away after the busyness of the holidays. This was the perfect place! Quiet, convenient to all the shopping and had all the necessities while there. We encountered severe weather while driving down and they were very understanding of our difficulties. Communication was quick and helpful. I would recommend this to everyone. 4 bedrooms....3 king beds and 4 bunks with 2 full baths. Plenty of seating and room to gather. We will be booking again, if available, when in the area. Enjoy Gulf Shores!!!

Highly recommended, lovely and neat place!

Highly recommended. Lovely and neat place, walkable to beach, peaceful area yet easy drive to where the main crowd/action is, very responsive and polite hosts. Also love the amenities (kayak, bikes, fishing poles). Felt at home right when we walked in the deck and got better as we entered the house- looked/felt/smelled neat and pristine. The wrap around porch is a bonus, with view of the sea in front and the lagoon at the back. My fave time was just enjoying the lagoon and the kayak. We usually rent beachfront properties but tried this one as the lovely view of the lagoon caught my attention. No regret at all because not only did we get great sunset views, we also enjoyed hanging out by the dock and kayaking--something you can't do in the beach. Owners/hosts were nice and always made sure we got everything we need. Thanks Jessica. We will be back!

The house is absolutely beautiful and is so relaxing!

Jessica and team was amazing! If I had questions about anything they answered right away. I let them know the toilet wasn’t flushing right. I wasn’t concerned about it. They sent out maintenance right away. The house is absolutely beautiful and is so relaxing. The couch is so cozy expect to fall asleep lol The outside is beautiful!!! My kids caught a couple of fish. We used the water toys in the lagoon. The back deck is the perfect place to watch the sunset. We would walk over the beach at sunrise and have a sunrise dip!! So many seashells collected. Just driving up and down the street looking at all the beautiful homes was so much fun. Just LOVED everything about our stay. We were so sad to leave. Highly recommend!!!

Exactly The Relaxation We Needed

This was our first trip to Gulf Shores and I have to say, the house was amazing. It was exactly what we needed for the family. Everything was spotless upon arrival and anything we needed was available. Despite some construction work going on a couple doors down on both sides of the house, it was still very peaceful. We got to enjoy the kayak and paddle board, but also just took in some quiet time on the dock, watching fish jump out of the water. The beach was across the street and we were able to go through an access point that appears to have belonged to a house that is no longer there. Not sure if we were *supposed* to do that, but we did. :) And the beach was very sparsely populated. We didn't have anyone near us for at least 50-75 yards in both directions. We setup "camp" and just chilled, enjoying the waves. We even saw a couple sharks (not sure what kind) but they didn't bother us. In fact, we never saw them when someone was in the water. I highly recommend eating at Perch restaurant. Great atmosphere and fantastic food. We also got some boils from the fish market and that was amazing. The hosts were very responsive to any questions we had. I can easily recommend this place for anyone wanting to enjoy Gulf Shores without being in the heart of the action. (And believe me, The Hangout had some sort of weekend party going on and driving through that at times was...interesting.)

Beautiful beach house!

Beautiful beach house. Big and spacious for a large family of adults and children. Had everything you needed for a beach vacation from beach towels, beach chairs, umbrellas, beach toys for the kids. There were kayaks, paddle boards, fishing equipment, coolers and a lot more!!

Absolutely wonderful!

My family travels to the Gulf Shores area every year and we all agreed that this was our favorite place we have stayed. Perfect size for our family of four (five including our pup). The house was so welcoming and lived up to the description. Having the bay with a small beach literally in the back yard was perfect! My husband and two boys fished off the dock every day and our dog played in the bay every chance she could. The beach is directly across the street and we basically had a section all to ourselves. The provided beach supplies were wonderful to have and the kayaks and paddle boards were great to take out on the bay in the in the early evenings. The owner was so kind and even sent a new beach umbrella for us that arrived the same day we did… she went above and beyond! We will for sure be back to Sandpiper Sunset!

The group enjoyed the home amenities!

We had a wonderful extended family vacation to celebrate a birthday. The group enjoyed the home amenities and especially fishing off the dock where they caught fish almost with every cast! The kitchen was well stocked and we cooked all meals in including grilling out. Thanks for making it easy and memorable for the family!

Their property is exactly how it’s shown in the pictures!

Jim, Jessica, and the team were so responsive, kind, and flexible! I really appreciated how easy it was to follow the check in and check out instructions! Their response was within minutes! Their property is exactly how it’s shown in the pictures! My kids absolutely loved the their stay, we didn’t want to leave!! :) the walk to the beach was super short and there weren’t many people around us which made it feel even more special! I was sad about the purple flags up so we didn’t really get to enjoy the water but staying at their beautiful beach house made the trip worth it!! ❤️🙏🥰

A Great Family Escape, we’ll definitely be back!

The Sandpiper Sunset was exactly what our extended family vacation needed. We were looking for a single story house to accommodate grandparents (the house had to have minimal stairs), grandkids (3 teenagers and a little kid), and 3 adults but we also wanted to have a water front property and preferably a big porch. Well this house has all of that plus paddle boards, life jackets, a beach wagon, and so many beach & lagoon accessories. Anytime we contacted the owners with questions they rapidly responded and were really awesome to work with. Definitely 5 star owners that care about who stays at their house. The house is located about 6minutes to the “busy” area of Gulf Shores. It was super easy to drive to the Hangout, park our cars, enjoy the beach and have lunch. Then we would drive back to the house, walk to the “sea shell” beach, swim in the ocean, pick sea shells then head back to the lagoon where we would paddle board and hang out at the fire pit. This area of town is quiet and peaceful. It was AMAZING!! It really was exactly what we were needing to reconnect as a family. We definitely will be planning to come back!!

Hands down one of the most beautiful beach houses I’ve ever stayed in!

Hands down one of the most beautiful beach houses I’ve ever stayed in. Everything was exactly as listed, clean, cozy, and fully stocked with everything you’d need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen had all the essentials for cooking, which made meals super easy. The views were absolutely amazing. Waking up to the sound of the ocean and having coffee with that kind of view? Can’t beat it. The amenities were way above what I expected, and you can really tell the host put a lot of thought into the details. Bedrooms were spotless and the beds were super comfortable. Honestly, 10 out of 10. I’ll definitely be coming back!
