Its was OK. The tvs were terrible wouldnt hook up to the internet so we weren't able to watch anything. The refrigerator ice machine was awful we were able to get a few cubes in 4days. Luckily we found an ice tray before we bought any. Stains on curtains a few holes in the walls. Bed in the master was awful it was so hard. We had 1 blanket on each bed. Luckily I found a old comforter to use for the couch pull out.The washer sounded like it was gonna take off it was so loud. The view was great from the dining room and one of the rooms.

Outdated

Location is great. Easy walk to the beach and lagoon. Washing machine sounds like a jet is taking off in the condo, dishwasher doesn’t clean dishes, we were supplied ample bath towels but only two wash cloths in the master bath and only four total for a three bedroom two bath unit. We had to wash daily in order to have enough. Bedroom remotes don’t work. The floors weren’t clean, the bed sheets didn’t fit and were stained. I would stay at the complex again but definitely another, cleaner unit.

Overall great stay

The location of this property was wonderful. It was a very close walk to the beach (just had to cross one road, which was not very busy) and also the lagoon. The unit was also steps away from one of the community pools. So overall, the location and nearby amenities were wonderful. The condo had all the necessities and was enough space for our family of 6. The balcony was also lovely to relax on in the evenings.

Nice condo

Nice alternative to expensive beach house, without the crowds of a high rise. Convenient location, comfortable and clean. Photos accurately depict. Enjoyed our stay!

Overall Nice Unit

Could have been cleaner but I bring my own cleaners anyway. I could not get the temperature above 72. The hallways and stairwell had a bad odor. Overall a nice unit.

Room for us.

We enjoyed our time there. Communication with owner was good. She even let us have a generous late checkout. Location to beach and pool was good. Cons: Like another review said, upgrade on washer and dryer and such would be good. When washing and drying clothes, it sounded like a plane taking off. Hole in vent of dryer. Exhaust fan in master bath did not work. Living room and spare bedrooms were uncomfortable but maybe each to their own. Pros: location. Three bedrooms and two baths. Dining room and one bedroom had a ocean view.

Great location with room for property contents updates

Good location and pretty decorations. Convenient access to beach and lagoon with a surprised ocean view from dinning area. Overall we had a great time staying at the property. It'd be perfect if wash machine, dryer, dish washer and coffee maker are more updated especially for the washer and dryer. They are way too old. The overhead light of cooktop did not work and it's not fixed for our entire stay. The property manager was contacted for it when we were first checked in. Hall bath room is small and one of towel bars was fell off and not been fixed and that made it worse.

Perfect getaway!

I stopped here on my way from NY. It was the perfect spot. The place was extremely clean, great water views, and just a very quick walk to the beach. We sat on the balcony and enjoyed rain and shine. Everything we needed was there and in great condition. Absolutely a hidden gem.

Family vacation

It was perfect. We had a view of the ocean and the pool from a nice balcony and window in the condo. There was a large full size, fully stocked kitchen with pantry, and large bedrooms with a TV in each. We grilled out one night under the covered pavilion and fished off the new docks in the back bay.

Stay Review

2 stars given on booking accuracy due to booking a date and receiving a booking accaptance. Realizing I put the dates 1 week earlier than Ineeded I requested a change to the next week and was informed there was an error in the booking amount and it would cost me another 2 thousand dollars. Not happy. The property is doing an upgrade by adding gates. The frame for the concrete foundation was done months ago and came apart, one of the screws punctured my tire. The condo itself was great though it could use a furniture upgrade on the balcony.

LOVED THIS PLACE!

Absolutely loved everything about this place!! We loved it so much we ended up adding on an additional night at the end of the week because we didn’t want to leave! Very short walking distance to beach, bay, and pool right down below! Very spacious bedrooms with lots of storage. Kitchen was equipped with everything we needed for the week! Our dogs loved to sit on the balcony enjoying the fresh air and watching people in the pool! To say the least we will definitely be back to Shaka Shores!

Trendy, Spacious, & Clean Condo!

Great location with a view of the beach, very clean sleeping and living area to relax before and after a long day in the sun. I was surprised with how much space there was and the condo was very trendy on the inside! Pool was large and clean. Overall great stay and a great host!

Pool side and right across the street from the beach

Very nice condo in an older complex but convenient location. This was especially nice if you don’t love the huge high rise complexes. It was across the street from the beach but had a beautiful dock with a pavilion on the back bay which was beautiful, too.

Great place

We loved staying here! The beach is easily accessible and we are not too far from the tourist hub for shopping and eating. But far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the chaos in town. Loved coming here!

Perfect stay

This condo was the perfect place for our Christmas trip. The owner even had a little Christmas tree up. The location is perfect between the lagoon and the beach. Would definitely stay here again.

Great Condo

Loved the decor. It was clean, plenty of room and well stocked with all needed items. Short walk across the street to the beach and the pool was right outside your door. We enjoyed our stay and would rent again. The host was friendly and great to work with. Only drawback for me was the hot climb up and down stairs.
