"Bed and pillows were comfortable. Thought it weird that they gave you amenities like coffee and tea on the off-days from when they clean the room. And on days they clean the room they take away your extra towel, and give you a new robe. About a 10 minute walk from the subway. Tons to explore in the area, but very touristy. My window faced a fire escape/brick wall. But the perk was that I heard no noise from the street. Room is small, but I utilized the shelving area to store my clothes, and then put my suitcase at the end of the bed."

"The prompt for this asks to write a review to help travellers plan better. My advice to plan better and have a more enjoyable experience in Tokyo is to NOT book this hotel. I have just left and not slept for a week. The sirens, alarms and noise from outside is overwhelming and carries on all day and night. It feels like your window is always open. The staff were extremely rude and not helpful at all. They didn’t clean our room when we put the sign up on the door, advised that we can bring down our own rubbish and one time only made up our bed rather than change the sheets. The rooms are tiny and the pillows are so bad that I’m going to have to pay thousands of dollars just to repair my neck. When I asked for a soft pillow they said they didn’t have any. When issues were raised, we were only offered a refund if we left by 11am that day which we couldn’t because we had booked an activity. I’ve slept on airport floors, at bus stations, party hostels and I even caught bed bugs once in Spain whilst travelling and this hotel is without a doubt the worst place I’ve ever been with the poorest customer service. Please do yourself a favour and never come here. The reviews are not accurate which has gotten me to truly believe the staff or manager there must be writing them themselves. Awful awful awful. "

"The hotel is in a good location if you want to be far enough away from the hustle and bustle but Al’s within walking distance. The room is very small. As is most Japanese rooms. The breakfast is in another APA hotel across the street. If you’re like me and look forward to breakfast while traveling this isn’t the place for you. Very limited breakfast. Biggest disappointment. We just ended up going out and paying for it elsewhere. The hotel isn’t bad though. I’d stay here again. But I’d also probably look around at others first. The staff was great very friendly. "
