This was easily the best hostel I stayed in during my trip to Tokyo this May. My friends and I booked the Family-Suite and fit 4 people, it was very comfortable! The room was very clean and spacious during the day, as the extra beds rolled under the original two beds, and the provided amenities were ...
Very friendly and welcoming staff and service. The room was very clean and we received fresh towels on our door each day, despite leaving the ‘Do Not Disturb’ sign on the door. This hotel is in a great location (Ikebukuro) with lots of food options and rail station nearby. The mattresses were quite ...
It's a great place of staying if the only thing you need is somewhere to spend the night, all of the processes are super fast and clear, and it is easy to find and reach from the JR Ikebukuro station. However, if you're looking for someplace that is fancy and super comfortable to relax it's might ...
The property is ok. Friendly staff and good location. 4pm check in is a bit late i think. It says 3pm on expedia where i booked it but the lady on the reception insisted that it's 4pm.
Hotel is within walking distance to metro station. There is a lot of restaurants and malls nearby this hotel. Room is small but okay quite comfortable. The only thing is we didn’t like the bathroom as it had mold and sewage smell.
The staff is nice. She let us check in early.
Hotel was located in the relatively quiet area of Ikebukuro so solo female travellers might want to be more careful. Other than that, location was great - a little far from the JR lines but near the metro/subway lines. Rooms were tiny as expected of a Tokyo hotel but clean and new. Those who want ...
Generally Near to many eating places at Ikebukuro. Distance to Ikebukuro Station is pretty ok. Generally Nice stay for me.
In spite of the slightly out-dated design and utilities, everything is in working order. For those who value simplicity and/or location more than modernity, I would recommend this hotel. If you need a wifi connection in your room, look elsewhere. Breakfast was pretty good in my opinion.
Ikebukuro is a neighborhood situated 5 miles to the northwest of the heart of the national capital of Japan, Tokyo.
Tokyo offers a number of excellent things to see, including the Disneyland® Tokyo, Tokyo Sky Tree and the Sensoji Temple.
On your adventures, don't forget to visit and admire St. Mary's Cathedral, the most important cathedral in this area. If you're on the lookout for some nearby hotels, the Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo and RIHGA Royal Hotel Tokyo are two attractive options. You can watch curious creatures swim around, try to identify them by name and learn about their lives at Sunshine Aquarium, a fun and educational place for everyone. Think about staying at the Sunshine City Prince Hotel Ikebukuro Tokyo and Dai Ichi Inn Ikebukuro if this sight is higher up on your travel itinerary.
The House Ikebukuro – Hostel is one of Ikebukuro's more economical accommodation options.
Delicious coffee and finger-licking treats bring Ikebukuro locals to 珈琲蕃. It's the perfect venues for an emergency snack. Still feeling hungry? くに喜や is also close and offers more substantial meals. Later on, kick on into the nighttime with some drinks and fine company at 魚串炙縁.
