The pictures on Hotels.com make the hotel look very nice. The Lobby and the room that we stayed in were very nice and clean. The front desk person when we checked in was a grumpy old lady that did the business and no hello, goodbye or chit chat. It appears that this is one of those old independent hotels that rents out most of its rooms for low income and or government subsidies, because most of the rooms on the floor we were on had the doors decorated on the outside like an apartment building. There were also different window AC units hanging out the windows from the outside than the room we stayed in. Was the room nice? Yes. Was the parking lot and smoking area that you have to walk through to get into the hotel sketchy? Yes. Would I stay here again? Yes. Was the cost affordable? Yes. Over all I would give this place a 3.5/5.
