The apartment is clean, neat, and has a good-sized balcony with a table for eating. Gernika is equipped with a train station, many restaurants, grocery stores, shops, a couple museums, and is even a short drive to beaches and the seaside town of Lekeitio, making it the perfect alternative to staying in Bilbao. "We had a most pleasant stay in Hotel Sercotel Coliseo. We shared a triple room which was spacious, quiet and comfortable and very clean. It housed a mini fridge which contained bottled water and nibbles. Breakfast was included in our stay and there was a great selection of both cooked and continental food. A lovely sun terrace was available for guest use which had comfortable seating, soft lighting in the evening and heaters if required. The staff were helpful and friendly throughout. The hotel is well situated less than 10minute walk from city centre. I would happily stay there again."
