Checked in, and room had multiple dead bugs on and under the covers. Asked for a different room. Second room was better, but smelled of mildew. We did not swim in the pool, but it did look fairly green. I personally would not stay at this hotel again.

The outside of the property was beautiful but the inside of the motel was old and small. Very expensive considering how old it is.

It’s a fairly new motel with a great location. I’m pretty sure that every room has a water view of some kind. The rooms are furnished comfortably. Both times we’ve stayed there we had to call a number to get checked in. A very helpful clerk is there but not readily available. Their fancy espresso machine doesn’t work. Don’t expect coffee in the morning.

Great motel in Port Clinton. Short walk to Jet express ferry to PIB and social district. We like staying in the main bldg as less noisy. Very friendly staff

Amazing!! Absolutely wonderful place to stay!! As promised, it was clean and quiet. The owner was super nice, breakfast was too notch, & turn down service was a pleasant treat. My only suggestion, even though we had our balcony to sit on, it would’ve been nice to sit outside (ground level) on some lounge chairs to put up our feet and enjoy the atmosphere. But it’s just that, a suggestion. We will definitely be return visitors to this establishment next year! Thank you to everyone at The Anchor Inn who made our stay exactly what we expected it to be.
