“This is a great find... When you look at the outside it doesn't look like 5 stars...but if you are visiting the Great Sand Dunes this is the place to stay... Very nice staff ..A complete breakfast and a large well appointed room... Could not have been happier with our choice of the Dunes!!”

“Great place and so close to the sand dunes! I will def be back here! The rooms have little sitting areas outside which I loved ! There’s hummingbird feeders and little hummingbirds flying all around! We got there later after the restaurant nearby had closed, but the hotel has frozen pizza you can buy and cook there so we did that! The lady in the office was very nice and friendly and when she heard we were leaving super early she gave us some things for breakfast, I wanted to give them a 5. But……

“I will never stay here again.I reserved 2 rooms.Said check in was at 3pm. Got there a little after and the rooms were not ready.My inlaws room had no kind of bedding so they had to wait another 45 minutes.The room we were in looks like they dont know how to clean!The toilet had mold,the floors were nasty,the TV stand and desk,nightstands had black dirt.The windows sill was disgusting. The lamp and wall had black dusty dirty pilled on it like it has never ever been cleaned.The bottom of the bed……

“This is a very charming hotel with and old fashion elevator and well-furnished sitting areas on each floor. I was in a room facing main street and it got very noisy in the morning. Breakfast was adequate, certainly not special. Bed was comfortable but bathroom was very small with no where to set you bathroom items. For the value I would stay there again.”

“House was great for a couple’s getaway. It was a perfect location for visiting the Great Sand Dunes and for beautiful drives. ”
