“We had the room with the balcony. That added space was lovely. However there were dead insects on the bathroom sink when we arrived and stains on some of the towels which really made my daughter uncomfortable with the whole stay”

“The staff is lovely and accommodating. I had booked the only room where pets are allowed though ultimately declined to bring mine. Happy to say there was no evidence a pet had ever stayed there. The room was spotless, tastefully renovated with no sign of wear or tear. While the room is not very large, the bathroom was spacious and the accommodations seemed suitable for a small to mid-sized pet. The bed was very comfortable, with good pillows and ample blankets if needed and the AC was……

“Highly recommend! We had our honeymoon here and it was a very beautiful historic building, very clean, and a very well-decorated room. Comfy beds, gorgeous bathroom, and spacious; true to the photos. The staff were very warm and welcoming and quickly responsive. Only wish was that the TV in the community room was a smart TV because we wanted to watch the World Cup but the Regular TV did not have it available. Highly recommend a stay! “I'm house-hunting in Hudson, so my wife and I have stayed in a few other hotels and B&Bs there. However, one night in Pocketbook and I'll definitely continue booking there.
