You can take time to visit Frank Gotch State Park during your travels to Humboldt. Amble around the area's riverfront or experience its entertainment venues.
Though Humboldt County Memorial Hospital might be what brings you to town, perhaps you'll have a chance to explore more of Humboldt while you are here.

I grew up in Humboldt and have always felt the town was very clean and the people very friendly.
grew up in the area - used to go there often to shop and etc.
We didn’t go far. We went to the grotto.
We didn’t drive around EVERY neighborhood in Humboldt, but we never drove by one that was trashy looking, needed upkeep, or felt unsafe in. It was a very clean, nice looking town.
