“We got in at 11pm at night and was not expecting a motel style stay. The person checking us in was pleasant at the beginning but then quickly made a rude remark to my son. He is 4 and exhausted from being in holiday world all afternoon and didnt say hello. The man then made a comment of, "oh, he's never seen a foreigner before." After getting check in taken care of and getting to our room, the floor was completely soaked. From the front carpet to the tile in the bathroom. It was late enough……

“As we planned to go to Holiday World for Father’s Day weekend, we chose the Comfort Inn Ferdinand location because it was a bit closer to the parks than hotels in Jasper, as well as a slightly better price tag, although I still can’t believe we spent $450 for 2 nights at this hotel. The room upon first entry was fairly clean, although the carpet was worn with sticky spots in some places. A sign was on the bathroom door asking guests to keep bathroom door shut so as not to trigger the fire alarm,……

“This hotel is clean but terribly dated. Rooms don’t have enough outlets for charging modern devices. Linens are clean but looking kind of shabby, as are the floors. The Christmas theme decor is looking faded and dusty. Won’t stay here agin.”

“The breakfast was not good. Pancake machine was broken. Food wasn’t kept filled at all. Bacon was burnt. Half of our bathroom lights didn’t work. Half of our room lights didn’t work. The hotel smells very musty. Elevator was broken the day we went to leave. Room is run down. All in all I would never come back. I expect a lot more for the price.”

“Room was musty smelling. Bathroom didn’t have any air circulation so it was always damp. Constant blinking light on smoke detector was distracting at night. Staff was friendly but seemed short staffed as there was rarely someone at the front desk.”
