"My husband and I stayed for a long weekend at the Blue Heron and were so happy we chose this location for our getaway. The cottage is directly on the lake, which made for a gorgeous view. Sitting on the screened in porch looking over the lake was so peaceful! The cottage had everything we could have needed, including two comfortable recliners and a comfortable king size bed. The host left us a large basket of snacks and cold bottled water in the fridge. Plenty of towels and paper goods were also provided and appreciated. We will definitely come back the next time we're in the area, we absolutely loved it!!"

"It was the best experience in a place to stay beats a 4 star hotel hands down Ray was so pleasant to talk to very friendly and helpful we asked him about a good place to eat a good country meal and he told us of a place not far away and we were not disappointed! Hands down the best vacation spot my wife and I are definitely going back"

"It was very convenient location for where we needed to be. This was our second stay there. Staff was very pleasant and friendly, rooms were very clean, parking was very close to our room and easy to transport our luggage to and from the room. Pool and continent breakfast was very good.
