100 acres of peace & quiet
Had a wonderfully peaceful, relaxing and enjoyable family getaway. Michelle and Peter were great hosts, always accessible, very friendly and most accommodating. The long view over Skeleton Bay from the main deck is simply fabulous - couldn’t get enough of it.. Very comfortable, easy cottage living. We felt at home almost immediately. Within 1/2 hr of so many places to sightsee or for services, including rental boat and jet skis in Minett which worked out great. Great bay & nearby Bent river to kayak around as well. And our dogs maybe had the best time of all!! So much room for them to run and swim. So glad we came.

Chilling in Rosseau.
We made a last minute reservation at the Hideaway on Rosseau and we really enjoyed our time there taking in the views on Rosseau, especially late in the evening The property manager Michelle was incredibly responsive whenever we had questions so that was great. The rooms were a great size as well for the three of us so we slept soundly every night. The one thing I did miss though was relaxing on the dock, which we’ve done at other properties. Because the property is elevated from the water to provide the stunning views of rosseau, you need to walk down to the water/ dock area. I did quite enjoy the views on the deck, but would have liked to have experience the sunset relaxing on the dock with the waves crashing against the boat. Oh well, can’t have it all, but the spot is great overall and the hosts are really responsive and professional to make the stay more than worthwhile.

Highlight weekend of the summer!
Was luck enough to stay at this amazing cottage for the Labour Day weekend. Myself and a few friends had a blast! It's a beautiful view from the deck. Perfect location. Kitchen is spacious and has everything you need to cook. Large dinning room and huge living room area to socialize and relax. They even have a beautiful outdoor enclosed deck with more seating. Very cool basement unit with more beds. Main bedroom is crazy comfy. Massive bathroom with shower and giant soaker tub. They have a giant property and a great road down to the lake. Private beach with muskoka chairs and a very nice dock to hang out in the sun. We didn't want to leave and can't wait to go back! Thank you! This was an amazing weekend and one of the best times we had this summer

Muskoka Hideaway
My wife and I stayed at this cottage in mid August with my 90 year old father and our two dogs. It's a well laid out cottage with a wonderful deck with view of the north end of Skeleton Bay on Lake Rosseau. The kitchen was very well equipped by someone who likes to cook. Property has dock and beach area that is walkable down a steep road. The property owners provided use of their gator to get up and down from the beach which was very helpful for my father. Our dogs loved playing in the water at the beach. The property has a nice dock and the owners lent us a canoe for a few days and we rented a boat for a day as well. The water is a bit shallow for adults to swim but would be good for kids. There is a large boat garage on the property where the owners let me park and charge my Tesla.

Great place right on Lake Rosseau
We had a great stay here. Cottage is charming and the deck attached is an amazing place to relax, have a glass of wine and watch the sunset. Beds are super comfortable, and the overall comfort of the cottage is great. A small hike (5 mins) down to the water, but the owners offered us use of their gator which our teenagers loved. Wifi was in and out but owners were super quick to solve the matter when we enquired. Waterfront offered beach entry as well as a dock for the boat we rented which was awesome. Kitchen is fully stocked, there was nothing we needed and they didn't have. The only thing I would I wish the cottage had was use of kayaks or paddle boards to keep the kids busy, we landed up renting some from the town close by. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay in this very clean, comfortable, original spot on Lake Rosseau.Would recommend to close friends or family for sure.
