“Some helpful information about the shower in our particular room….. hot water takes about 20 minutes of a running shower on HOT to actually get to be warm enough to take a shower. I learned this from another guest staying there at the same time. It’s an old building and I completely understand that the water takes a while to warm up, BUT the staff could have alerted us to the issue ahead of time. The water temp was by no means hot, even after 20 minutes of running and two showers later it still……

“Buyer beware. Host assured 100% refund of 1 night of stay well prior to arrival but after several asks, gave only partial. Finally did refund only to remove it immediately and then stop communicating. At booking, the listing set up automatic late check out charge of 25. Unclear directions on how to enter the property. Repeatedly gave 2 different check out times throughout stay. Just frustrating. . . ”

“Very nice stop in the northern woods. The check in wasn't smooth. We never received the access code so we had to call a number to receive the code. It was easy after we called but would have been nice to just receive it like the email stated. There was a cigarette butt in the planter by the door which was not attractive to nonsmokers arriving. There was also a leftover towel under the bed. Otherwise, the room was very clean, the room was remodeled nicely, and it was a quiet place to stop……
